Veerashaiva Vidyavardhak Sangh (V.V.Sangh) is one of the pioneer educational societies in the erstwhile Nizam’s state of Hyderabad, established in year 1944 with an objective to provide accommodation facilities to the students who were hailing from rural areas and deprived of higher education due to the lack of accommodation facility in Hyderabad city and financial constraints.

The V.V.Sangh has its jurisdiction in three states viz., Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra. It has members from all walks of life i.e, eminent politicians, educationists, social workers and philanthropists.

Due to the persistent demand from the students and their parents, the V.V. Sangh (H.O: Yadgir, Karnataka) came forward to start Basaveshwara Institute of Information Technology(BIIT) with MBA Programme at Hyderabad in the year 2007 by seeking prior approval from AICTE, New Delhi and Osmania University affiliation. BIIT College is one of the few educational institutions in the city of Hyderabad which is well sought after by students for MBA course. It is a Co-educational college, located in the heart of Hyderabad city. It has completed eleven glorious years of educating post graduate students in management education. Within a short span, it has a niche of itself in the field of higher education in Telangana.
